Hello! At home me and some other colleagues loose the connection after 5 minutes. In other places (office) this not happens.I wrote about this here:https://www.postgresql.org/message-id/CAEcMXhn8Hvu3do5F-k5o3x1nYy3wLHXTNFXU1A2SrADYGo97ww%40mail.gmail.comYesterday I found a solution-like thing for PGAdmin III here:https://superuser.com/questions/729034/any-way-to-keep-connection-alive-in-pgadmin-without-setting-it-on-the-serverIn PgAdmin IV I also have this problem. But here I don't find same "service" option to link to my parameters. What I can do here? Do you know hidden service option in PGAdmin IV?The solution is may be an option for "SQL command list after connect" for each servers - with this I could configure TCP keepalive parameters manually.Thank you for your answer!dd
I also use pgAdmin4 over vpn many times but I do not face any such issue, I think this is environment specific issue in your case.--Regards,Murtuza ZabuawalaEnterpriseDB: http://www.enterprisedb.comThe Enterprise PostgreSQL Company

With SSL + cert + outer server I get it in all inactive 5 minutes... :-(My three colleauges too, but some other not. Before I read the link I thought it's impossible to avoid, but PGAdmin III successfully hacked with this technique...I search for same option in PGAdmin IV, but I don't find now.All libpq.dll based apps suffered this behaviour - pgsql, EMS SQL Manager, Navicat, PGAdmin III/IV.If I could define "onconnect" extra parameters or SQL commands somewhere, I can change the TCP keepalive to lower, and the limitations would vanish...
