Question?: volunteers for pdxpug day mon sept 10, 2018

Phil Rodas (prodas)
Any chance, I/we as Quest can have a table top. To offer discussions around how we help in the Postgres area.
We can pay a fee. No hard sell. Just a table top people can stop by and ask what do we do...

Thanks

Hi everyone,

As you may know we're trying to to put on a day of presentations on Sept 10:

https://pdx.postgresql.us/pdxpgday2018

I wanted to ask if any of you would like to help volunteer?  Just to name some of the things we could use help with:

* keep time for presenters
* help attendees find the room
* design some signage
* introduce presenters
* maybe other tasks that have not been mentioned yet

We can hook you up with a postgres themed t-shirt for you time.

Thanks!

Regards,
Mark

Hi Phil,

I'm afraid we're not prepared for that this year.  We've only requested
the classroom at PSU and we didn't ask for any additional space, which
we would have had to reserve and rent through the university.

Regards,
Mark

Thank you. If things change. We can help secure an area for this type. I have a team and they handle those type of coordination etc.

You may want to contact PostgresOpen or PostgresConf about those
opportunities. They both have conferences coming up. PostgresOpen is in
late Summer during the week of September 4th and PostgresConf is early
fall the week of October 15th.
