When running on Docker, no selecion folders for import/export

Edson Richter

When running pgAdmin on Docker, all file/directory selection files come empty.

Example on image below:

Is there anything I need to configure to make it work as expected (show my local files and folders)?

Thanks,

Edson

Hi Edson,

In which mode - desktop or server, are you using pgAdmin ? If server mode, then the user can only see its own mapped directory. Refer - https://www.pgadmin.org/docs/pgadmin4/5.1/server_deployment.html.

RES: When running on Docker, no selecion folders for import/export

Edson Richter

It’s server – all my team uses a shared installation on a Linux VM running pgAdmin on Docker.

I’ts amazing fast and realiable – except that we cannot export/import data to/from pgAdmin.

Notice that “download” CSV from query window works normally.

I’ll check docs you have linked.

Thanks,

Edson
